Very Local Pittsburgh's $8 Skate Date (a benefit for 412 Food Rescue)

Very Local is a new website in Pittsburgh that features stories and events around town.

We've rented the MassMutual Pittsburgh Ice Rink at PPG on the very last day of the season to throw a benefit for our friends 412 Food Rescue. They have also teamed up with some other local favorites to make sure this skate date is a Pittsburgh party. DJMB, whom you may know from In Bed by Ten Dance party, will be providing the music and Zeke’s Coffee will be whipping up hot chocolate. Very Local is new to the Pittsburgh media scene, but their staff has been around the proverbial ‘Burgh block. One of their mottos taped to the wall of our office is “see the city in a new lens.” Everyone visits the ice rink when it’s dressed in its holiday finest, but let’s give it a proper send-off. Adults are $8, Kids $5. Advance tickets are required to reserve your spot, but 100% of your ticket cost is donated. Tell a friend. Bring a +1. Let’s skate into spring. Together.
