Grass in The Glades is a two-day camping extravaganza featuring the region's best jamgrass bands, food vendors, and craft vendors at The Glades Festival Grounds.

MEETUP PEOPLE: This is a non-hosted event. 1 hour 40 minute drive away from Pittsburgh. Just a cool music festival with camping in Fayette County about 9 miles away from Nemacolin Woodlands. I (Frank aka Big Kahuna) have been there before and its worth your time. If you are not into camping you can get a hotel nearby there are a bunch in this area about 10 miles away from the festival/campgrounds. I was here for two festivals last year and they both had superior music and since i was cooking there superior food ;-). It's a good place, use the fb event page if you have any questions.

Nestled in the Laurel Highlands right on the WV/PA Border in Gibbon Glade, PA, Grass in The Glades offers free rough camping and two days of great music in a family friendly atmosphere at an affordable price.

Camping is easy and available for both tents and RV's (no electrical hookups). Kid's are more than welcome, in fact, they are encouraged. Did we mention that kids under 18 are free? Yes. FREE.

Bring an instrument, there will be bonfire pickin' and grinnin'!!!

FESTIVAL RULES:

1. No illegal substances. EVER!!!!
2. Carry-in / carry-out garbage policy. Plan accordingly.
3. Fires in patio-style fire pits only. NO FIRES ON GROUND!
4. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
5. No admittance between 11 PM & 9 AM.
6. US Law applies at all times.
   *Breaking any rule is grounds for ejection without refund.

DIRECTIONS TO THE GLADES - DO NOT FOLLOW GPS!!!:

From Route 40 (National Pike) in Farmington, PA:

• Head South (southwest) on Dinner Bell - 5 Forks Rd/Sr2011.
• At 4.6 miles, turn left onto McCracken School Rd/T800 (this is a dirt road at the bottom of a hill on a sharp turn - the road is marked).
• At 0.4 miles, turn right onto Mason-Dixon Rd (it's the first right - it's also a dirt road - probably not marked.
• At 0.3 miles, the entrance will be on your left. (you'll cross a little bridge at the halfway point)

  From I-68 take Bruceton Mills, WV exit:
• Head north on WV-26 N
• At 5.6 miles, turn left onto Co Rte 26/5 - Dennis/Moyers Rd.
• At 2.4 miles, you'll come to a five-way intersection. There are NO STOP SIGNS.
• Take the second road on the right which is Dinner Bell - 5 Forks Rd/Sr2011. (DO NOT take the first right which is Mason-Dixon Rd.)
• At 0.8 miles, turn right onto McCracken School Rd/T800 (this is a dirt road on a sharp turn - the road is marked).
• At 0.4 miles, turn right onto Mason-Dixon Rd (it's the first right - it's also a dirt road - probably not marked.
