Every Monday from 7pm to 11pm is a musicians open mic/stage and it's damn good. They have an excellent house band to back people up if needed and an AMAZING SOUND GUY. I (Frank aka Big Kahuna) go about once a month to enjoy this, cause it is a hidden secret of Pittsburgh.

Acousticafe is damn good open stage with an amazing house band with a great sound guy.
This is free but yinz gotta pay for your own food n drink ;-).

If you are interested in playing/doing comedy or performing try to get there at 7pm to get on the list, it sometimes fills up fast. Plus bring your A game, just some amazing quality here.
