Ecstatic Dance - Magical Beings + "Visionary Visuals" Playshop

Ecstatic Dance Fridays happen EVERY 2nd & 4th Friday of each month!!

Ecstatic Dance is an all ages* evening of free-form, improvisational dance and mindful movement set to a totally awesome musical arch in a friendly, fun, community setting.

No dance experience needed; No steps to learn. Come as you are ~ Move as you wish! Family Friendly! (kids <16 free!);

Disco lights, dance props, community altar, and drawing space = fun for all!! Family Friendly! (kids <16 free!);

Post-dance, keep the magic flowing with Aaron J's Visionary Visuals playshop! This will be an opportunity for the community to co-create visions of our individual and collective futures using cool tools of: brainstorming, drawing, embodiment, sharing, and play! ♥

Event flow:
7:00 PM: Doors open
7:10 PM: Opening circle / Guided warm up/meditation
~7:20 PM: Free-form dancing begins!
~8:45 PM: Closing circle
9:15 - 11:15: Visionary Visuals - Community Playshop!!

Dancing is in bare feet, socks, or shoes depending on your preference. Dress comfortably, preferably in layers, and bring water/a water bottle (water fountain available).

Feel free to dress up and go all out, or dress down and just be. Special items for the community altar are always welcome, as are offerings of live music/singing for opening/closing circle :)

Join us in Fellowship Hall located off of Centre Avenue. FREE off-street parking for a limited number of cars.

*Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
