As a DBA, you like to see that your system is managed to the best of its abilities. With large data, partitioning is a way to help database tasks. You created partitions in your database to help with disk I/O, performance, and/or file organization. Sometimes this can be done from the application where it creates new partitions every month or sometimes a DBA manually will create the partitions when needed. In this session, we will learn how Sliding Window Partitioning will help save time and automate your partition maintenance.
