Powershell for the DBA

Details

Powershell is a powerful scripting and automation tool available for the DBA. In this session, we will look at the building blocks of powershell and how it can make day to day DBA tasks easier. Building upon the basics, we will look at an automated script to help deploy code changes to multiple environments. The powershell code will read through all scripts in a directory, execute against the appropriate instance, and provide auditing and logging functionality to simplify this common task.
