Build a Product Management Practice | Code That Scales with Grace

Details
Our Meetup series continues.
Come share a beer and some pizza with us and hear from our engineers, product managers, designers and data scientists. On this instance of the Pivotal Dublin Meetup we'll have two talks:
∙ Assembling your Product Management Team
What happens when you put a group of Product Managers in the room? If you’ve hired for a balanced mix of skills, developed a psychologically safe environment, and fostered a build-measure-learn culture that applies to HOW you product manage… you get a Product Manager that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Pivotal Dublin Product Director Lucy Feng shares her experience and learnings in building out a Product Management team in Dublin
This talk is for managers, group PMs, individual contributor PMs + Engineers + Designers.
• Code that Scales with Grace
Effective refactoring is key to building systems that last. Refactoring as we go along prevents them from ossifying and allows our code to scale with grace. In this talk we’ll look at various code examples and refactor them to make them adapt to change.
Pivotal Dublin Staff Software Engineer Sahil Muthoo will run us through how to scale your code gracefully. The examples will be simple but not trivial. Experience in any programming language will be sufficient to get value from this talk.
