Monthly Python: “Socket Talk” by Ron (PizzaPY 24)

Details
Let's restart the Python meetups after PyCon, to get our monthly dose of Python!
For this month's event, Ron is presenting
Socket Talk: Python socket programming for noobs
Yes, no more nice HTTP text protocol, none of that JSON fluffiness. This is about get-your-hands-dirty network programming with TCP and UDP! :D
Thanks to Ron!
We're open from 7pm; the talk starts at 7:30pm.
Please note the SkyRise1 DRESS CODE of long pants and at least T-Shirt sleeves. It's good idea to to wear SHOES. Actually the dress code can be stretched depending on the guards' mood, but to be safe, follow the dress code :D . It also helps if you say "The Tide ko" and walk like a boss ;)
And yes, this event is free, and you can also just walk-in.

Welcome to a monthly dose of our favorite programming language, every third Monday at The TIDE!
This is the opportunity for you to give back by participating. You can also learn how to present ideas and technical concepts to others. Let us know, if you want to present something, even if short, or do a workshop!
Examples of topics:
• Present a library you worked with.
• Demonstrate a new language feature, like async.
• Workshop on how to get started with Django
• Discuss the elegance of some particularly beautiful piece of Python code
