Join Plant Powered Metro New York to explore the relationship between diet and disease with Weill Cornell radiologist Natasha Wehrli, MD. Using imaging of prevalent Western diseases -- including fatty liver disease, kidney stones, colon cancer, and more -- in conjunction with peer-reviewed studies, Dr. Wehrli will illustrate the impact of common Western diets on the health of our organs and explain how a plant-powered lifestyle can help prevent, and even reverse, some of our most common chronic health problems!
Registrants will be invited to participate in a whole food, plant-based potluck dinner beginning at 7:00 PM, followed by the program at 7:30 PM.
