We are excited đ that Jeff Patton will join us with his talk "Thud: Why It's Not Failure You Need to Worry About" and discuss how we scale our discovery work and experiments, and how we spend most of our time wondering if our solution is a success or a failure.
Jeff Patton helps companies adopt a way of working thatâs focused on building great products, not just building stuff faster. Jeff blends a mixture of Agile thinking, Lean and Lean Startup Thinking, and UX Design and Design Thinking to end up with a holistic product-centric way of working. Jeff is author of the bestselling OâReilly book User Story Mapping which describes a simple holistic approach to using stories in Agile development without losing sight of the big picture. You can learn more about Jeff at: jpattonassociates.com.

Torsten Kunz will give us some insights into how Zalando uses small experiments and prototyping during discovery to build their own Retail Operations System in his talk âFake it before you make itâ.
Torsten is a Product Manager with a passion to build business software that internal users actually like to use and is currently building the Purchase Order component of Zalandoâs Retail Operations System. He believes that the Lean and Agile mindset is especially important in an enterprise environment to be better and faster than the competition.

As part of the SAP Innovation Center Network, Michael is leading technology-focused teams that come up with tangible results for high-priority inquiries by the Executive Board, Supervisory Board, or Chief Innovation Officer. With an agile and flexible setup, his teams realize strategic projects such as implementing proof of concepts and showcases, supporting keynotes and papers, or compiling reports about latest trends.
