Description: The JAZZ VERSE JUKEBOX has moved to the heart of London's East End after a residency lasting almost 7 years at the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club (Upstairs). It's new home is the fabulous Hoxton Hall, a newly restored victoriana music hall. The show continues with an age-old tradition of intertwining jazz and performance poetry, offering an opportunity to hear some of the best established and up & coming performance poets; celebrity guests reading their favourite poetry and live jazz; plus a unique ‘jukebox’ OPEN MIC allowing the audience to showcase their skills of jazz improvisation or spoken word. The brainchild of the award winning Broadcaster and Vocalist, Jumoké Fashola, this series of evenings at Hoxton Hall London is designed to stimulate the senses, sooth the soul and energise the eardrums. #Jazz #spokenword #London #poetry #OpenMic There is also the opportunity to perform and I know already some poets would love to perform.
