This is a joint meetup with "What Will Carol Do Next". We will meet at Eldorado's for dinner and a drink. Then you will have two hours for the scavenger hunt. This will be an in person around town scavenger hunt using the Goosechase app. Everyone will need a tablet or cell phone with the app Goosechase downloaded on it (free app) with a working camera. Only 1 person needs to have the app, but it is better if more people can post the pictures. You will sign up through meetup. Please let me know how many people you have in your group so the teams can be even and fair. You will be added to one of three teams. When the scavenger hunt starts, you will be given missions that you must complete. Go take a picture/video of what the mission asks you to do and post to the Goosechase app. Each mission has a different point value. You get extra points for creativity. The team with the most points (completed missions) and pictures wins. Carol and I will be the final judges. Please keep your group under the required social distancing rules and masks should be worn around those that you have not been around normally. There will be prizes for the winning team. Some of the best pictures will be added to the meetup website. Participants can join the game by following these simple steps: 1. Download the GooseChase iOS or Android app. 2. Choose to play as a guest, or register for a personal account with a username & password of your choice. 3. Search for and select the PC Fun on a Budget Social Distancing Scavenger Hunt game, or search by game code GZ6DV1 . Game password=Halloween 4. Once you sign up on meetup, I will give you a team name and access code, you will need to enter it here.
We will be making various bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. We will be doing cabochon, charm, and beaded lava stone with essential oil. These are pretty easy for beginners. Cost will be $5-$10 per item depending on what you get. These make great gifts for Christmas or keep them for yourself. You may want to bring pictures/cutouts for the cabochon jewelry. Deb will be doing readings. Readings are $10 for 20 minutes.
