We're kicking off 2018 with a very special guest- Carbon (formerly Carbon3D) will be hosting our Meetup and talking about their unique technology and partnerships. Here's how it'll go down:
A little about Carbon:
Carbon works at the intersection of hardware, software, and molecular science. Their vision is a future fabricated with light, where traceable, final-quality parts are produced at scale with CLIP technology. CLIP — Continuous Liquid Interface Production — makes this vision possible by combining engineering-grade materials with exceptional resolution and surface finish.
0715p: Carbon Digital Light Synthesis: An Overview by Colton Sampson
An in-depth look at the process mechanics and materials roadmap for Carbons Digital Light Synthesis process, with an application specific review of existing Carbon partnerships such as the adidas Futurecraft 4D midsole and the Incase Protection Story.
Colton Sampson is the Consumer Products Manager at Carbon, Inc. With experience in both biologics and additive manufacturing, Colton works for Carbon remotely here in Portland, OR. 0800: More Networking
A note from Shashi and Colton: Please do bring your printers, prints, and projects to showcase. We'll be focusing on Carbon, but want to see what you got too!
