What we're about
This is a group for people who want to experience the joy of singing and connecting to others through music.
This singing circle is a safe supportive space to find and develop your voice in a group setting. Beginners and experienced singers are welcome to come work with us.
Our activities will include technical and intuitive vocal warm-ups to find and strengthen your voice, exploring rhythm, musical toning, learning and singing short, multi-part songs, and vocal improvisation in the style of Bobby McFarren. Our approach is organic, mostly working a capella and learning through practice rather than reading music on a page.
Going forward, we are open to expanding to offer new workshops and activities to pursue different kinds of singing with different facilitators – let us know what you are interested in doing!
