What we're about

The Portland Chapter of the Association for Psychological Type (PAPT) is for anyone interested in learning more about personality type for professional or personal reasons. Together we learn about the patterns of human behavior so we can understand ourselves and others better. We are a community of welcoming folks. It doesn’t matter how little or how much you know about type, come to a meeting and learn something new.

Everyone is welcome to join the 5 programs we offer each year. If you would like to join PAPT for $65 per year there will be no charge to attend programs. If you would rather not become a member and pay as you attend each program, the charge will be $20 per program ($5 for students). If you plan to attend all the programs, we recommend you become a member as you will save $35 per year (5 programs x $20 = $100 vs $65 annual membership fee). In addition to our PAPT programs, as a PAPT Chapter Member you will also receive free attendance to a selection of Association for Psychological Type international (APTi) programs.

MBTI Reconnect & Freebies


How do you measure the benefits of the MBTI ? How has the MBTI made a difference in your life? Get Type materials while you share & learn from your Psychological Type Community.

Throughout the pandemic PAPT received a number of type-related materials, both new and used, from a number of people who were retiring or downsizing. We are excited to share these materials and props (free takeaways at the end) with you and to talk type again in person.

When: April 1st, 10am-noon

Cost: APTI Chapter Members: Free, Non-Members: $20.00, Students: $10.00
