All are invited to attend our volunteer-led field trips. Beginning birders to experts are welcome. Our volunteers love birding and sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge with others.

Bring your binoculars and dress for the weather! Beginners always welcome!

How to find out if you are registered or where you are on the waitlist

• if you want to remove yourself, click on the "x" button

• if you want to update your RSVP, click on the blue button

• if you want to see where you are on waitlist, click the blue "see all" link next to the Attendees list

• then select the 3rd tab "Waitlist"

• the next person to be let in off the waitlist is at the very bottom

Kiwa Trail-Ridgefield NWR

Needs a location

Join Julian Hwa & Mary Ratcliff, at Kiwa Trail on the River S Loop (Ridgefield NWR). Last chance before fall closure. Looking for Fall Migrants, Sora, Rail, and waterfowl. There is a park fee of $3. Allow time for navigating the auto loop. A scope would be helpful.

Killin Wetlands

Needs a location

Join Julian Hwa at 8 am on Oct 4 to search for early fall waterfowl, passerines and raptors at Killin Wetlands. We will explore the trails at the Killin Wetlands barn on Cedar Canyon Rd. in Banks.

Directions: Go west On US 26,turn on to OR 6 and exit at Banks. Go west thru Banks and then turn left on NW Cedar Canyon Rd. and follow this road until you see the parking lot and barn on the left.

Fernhill Wetlands

Needs a location

Join Julian Hwa & Richard Demarest, to search for Fall migrants including shorebirds, waterfowl and raptors. Meet in the parking lot of the Fernhill Wetlands at 8 AM. Fernhill Wetlands are off Rt 47 just south of Forest Grove. Take Rt 47 south from Forest Grove and turn left onto Fern Hill Road, continue 1/4 mile to the parking lot on the left.

Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge

Needs a location

Join Julian Hwa on a Late fall bird walk at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. We will be walking 1-2 miles on mostly flat trails. Bring a spotting scope if you have one and prepare for cold and possibly wet weather. Meet at the viewing area to the right of the visitor center. Public transportation is available - Trimet Route 93 and 94 at Stop ID#[masked]
