Tell us a bit about yourself.

I’m currently working as a front-end dev with a strong UX bent. I studied design/architecture in a studio-based curriculum for a few years of college, so I’ve been introduced to design thinking principles. I’m looking for opportunities to hone my skills and apply them to real-world situations.

How would you briefly describe design thinking to someone who'd never heard of it?

Design thinking is a mental toolbox of investigation processes, analytical frameworks, and critical lenses that help designers to examine situations from many points of view, identify opportunities for change, and generate human-centric, effective solutions.

What interests you most about this group?

I like that it is an open-ended ‘design thinking’ group and not solely focused on app development or other tech-centric points of view.
