ABOUT THE CLASSES
Want to get in on the ground floor of watercolors? No experience is required for this beginner’s introduction to a medium dating back to early humans, who used pigments mixed with water to create cave paintings. More experienced painters are welcome to attend and brush up on basics. This class will be a no-pressure walk through of tools, materials, brushstrokes, washes, and application techniques. The instructor will talk through subjects using handouts (sent by email) and demonstrations during the first session. We will also touch on basic elements and design. Students will do small exercises utilizing demonstrated techniques to complete finished paintings.
