Fusion 360 Meetup - What's New in Fusion, & CNC Scripting @ Hedron!

Happy New Year everyone! We’re excited to be rolling out a new series of meetups. The goal is to bring a mix of quality and diversity. (So, you'll see less of them, but we're hoping you really love the ones we do!) More interesting projects from users. More compelling presentations about Fusion and manufacturing. More delicious foods and beverages.

Have you ever been to Hedron Makerspace? Oddly, the Fusion 360 meetup hasn't. Let’s change that! Let's meetup Thursday March 9th, 6:30 PM at Hedron Makerspace. To kick things off, Jesse with Hedron will be showing off the space. Hedron has a bunch of 3D printers, a router, and various shop materials. Come check the place out. Next, we’ll be featuring local fusion user (and Autodesk API guru) Brian Ekins and his super fun Fusion scripts that let you do interesting things in CAM that are otherwise difficult. Then, we’ve got Keqing Song with the Fusion product team on-deck to finish out the evening with a whole lot of what’s up and coming in Fusion. See you soon!

Bring your laptop. Bring your appetite - we’ve got the food. Bring your curiosity. Whether you’re looking to explore the neighborhood, see an interesting Fusion project, or get glimpse of what’s coming in the future come join us Thursday March 9th at Hedron Makerspace!.

Hi, I am new to 3D-CAD and I'm working on a (for fun) electric guitar project. I'm kind-of stuck on a few things and I could use some help/advice. Please contact me if you could help. Thanks :)

I would not fit it because I don't believe in religious monopolies, and don't like evangelists attempts to create fashions, funding and interfering with indigenous aboriginal cultures, and mother nature's sustainable population plans, but I love CNC science used to fight wild fires, disaster relief, and prosthetic limb prototyping.I owe my life to installment of CNC custom prosthetic hips, and cancer radiation therapy that gave me 13 more years and counting.

I've worked in the east county manufacturing sector most of my life (Age 51). I own a small manufacturing company in Wood Village, OR that manufactures Wildland Firefighting equipment. We have several HAAS machining centers including a 5 Axis UMC750 and a DS30 Dual Spindle CNC Lathe with live tooling. I've purchased 5 seats of Fusion 360 and have been encouraging my team to check it out. They are really liking it as newbies for Design and CNC Machining. One more experienced employee is most familiar with Mastercam and he's liking it too. I'm most familiar with Mastercam, Solidworks, Catia, and Rhino. I'm going to encourage my team to attend this event. I've watched how technology has advanced over the last several decades and am impressed with the value Fusion 360 has to offer. See ya!!!!

I would like to see you = US start a company that takes ideas and get them to work or not all the while taping everything. The tape is to be shown on Public Television like shark tanks but not so depressing. Public TV, the company and the submitter to share in the profit if there is any. If I were rich and not so sick I would buy or lease a building not far from me and we would meet and work there. The building to have 3D printers, some good CADD machines and when everything is going lathes Etc. What do you think> Rex @[masked]
