What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in meeting fellow LGBTQ people, building community, and making Pride Happen in Oregon and SW Washington. Let's get together, share our experiences, our histories, and our skills in building a strong and resilient LGBTQ community! Let's do a coffee, a lunch, a picnic, a roundtable-or any other idea for coming together, getting to know each other, and building our future!

Pride Table Talks

Online event

Welcome to Pride Table Talks! Join us each month for in-depth virtual conversations centering the lived experiences of older Pacific Northwest lesbians of all gender spectrums.

Pride Table Talks is a collaborative effort that includes Pride Northwest, the Portland chapter of ZAMI NOBLA and GLAPN. Our collective goal is to record and document the stories and experiences of Pacific Northwest lesbians of all backgrounds, in their own words. While participants and guests will represent a multitude of races and ethnicities, particular effort and attention will be paid to ensuring that the voices of Black, Indigenous, and lesbians of color are prominently featured.

Last Wednesday of each month

3:00PM-4:30PM

Pride Table Talks are held through Zoom. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required!

Volunteer at the Virtual Portland Pride Parade!

Portland International Raceway

As you know, COVID-19 is again preventing us from holding the traditional Portland Pride Parade. What we are doing instead, is filming a virtual parade!

To do this, on June 4th we are renting the Portland International Raceway to film the parade. We would love to have you volunteer with us!

This will be an all day effort with 2 and 4-hour shifts available, beginning at 7:30am. Volunteers will be primarily helping to direct parade groups as they arrive and set up for their time in the parade. We also need a few volunteers to help set up in the morning and to break down in the early evening.

Pride Northwest is committed to keeping our community safe. Masks and physical distancing protocols will be in place.

If you would like to help out, submit the volunteer sign up form and Kari Anne will connect with you.

We are super excited to be able to come together to make Pride happen and look forward to seeing you!
