BACK ON THE MAT IN PERSON!

Hey All Meditating Men! We are excited to move back to an In-person Hybrid Model of our group! We are a core group of men who have been meeting together over 10 years, so RSVP numbers do not reflect the attendance. But please RSVP!

SO join us in person at Ankeny House or by Zoom. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IN-PERSON IF YOU FEEL UNWELL.

We have ended zoom meetings thanks to all who joined us near and far!

Explore how it feels to be a gay, bisexual, or trans man on a spiritual path and connect to other men in this sangha. Let's meet up and meditate together on a regular basis. There is also the opportunity to and discuss social issues, organize group outings and retreats. We often go for a group meal after!

Experience your mind as discovered through meditation. We practice mindfulness as a group - noticing what arises and constantly coming back to the present moment.

We start with gentle stretching, we sit in silence for 20 mins, walk in silence 10 mins, sit in silence for 10 mins and then I lead a loving-kindness/metta practice.

We also practice generosity by bringing a small monetary donation (one or two dollars) to each meeting if possible. These funds help to support the cost of operating our group. No donation required to attend. Dana is the practice of offering generosity when possible.

Come as you are - no experience necessary and there are pillows, cushions and chairs, but bring your own if you have one.
