Update: Tiru will be presenting remotely via video chat

3 Factor App: Application pattern that uses GraphQL and serverless

The prevailing sentiment about serverless is that it is best used for small stateless functions. In this talk, we falsify this belief and present a case study of building a complex user-facing fullstack application purely using serverless. We will look at a design pattern called 3factor app and see its wide applicability.

We will especially look at the stateful aspects of the app: from managing database connections to uninterrupted disaster recovery. Finally, we will load our application with 10k requests and witness serverless in its full glory.
