SharePoint search is the key to simplifying how we locate and access business content.

With SharePoint 2013 it's now much easier to build custom search pages that help users to quickly find the information they need so users no longer have to know where the data is located!

In this month's presentation, Simon will review the key search concepts in SharePoint 2013 and go through the steps required to turn metadata into easy-to-use search pages with custom filters.

Speaker Bio:

Simon is an independent SharePoint consultant who loves helping businesses to figure out what SharePoint can do for them. Simon focuses on solution design including requirements definition, information architecture, site configuration, search, SharePoint workflows and InfoPath. He also teaches Business User, Power User and Site Admin classes for SharePoint Innovations.

He has more than 25 years’ experience helping customers to implement business solutions for intranet portals, document management, workflow, 3D CAD, beta-program management and engineering data management.
