SharePoint 2013 REST APIs and JQuery

SharePoint 2013 introduced many enhancements to the web-based APIs, in fact most of the functionality that is surfaced in the browser is utilizing these APIs under the hood. This workshop will dive into some possibilities for calling these APIs from JavaScript/JQuery. Example: viewing/inserting/editing list items, checking membership of a permission group, viewing user profile data, or starting a workflow.
