As the largest ski show on the west coast, Portland Water Spectacular has been dazzling audiences in the Pacific Northwest while teaching new people to get outdoors and ski! Established in 1986, the team is the only team left in the area and continues a tradition dating back to the 1920's. We perform free to the public water ski shows all over the Pacific NW. Our mission is to teach people of all ages to ski, while building character, confidence and self esteem. Show skiing builds performance skills while fostering teamwork and encouraging people to try new things.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and all our performers are volunteers.

No waterski experience is required! We're truly a family club with skiing members from five years old to over 80! The only thing required is a commitment to have fun, learn, and give it your best. PWS membership is not limited to just skiers. We're always looking for skiers and support personnel such as boat drivers, boat riders/spotters, actors for shore routines, announcers and sound-system personnel, costume designers, marketers, and support personnel.
