Short bio:
Edite Joana Pereira Vilas Boas completed the master’s degree on Software Engineering in Institute Polytechnic of Cávado and Ave with the thesis “Automatização de testes de software no âmbito da certificação de software para aplicações de engenharia civil”.
From March 2003 until January 2019, she worked at a civil engineering software company, where she participated in the certification process of a software through the ISO/IEC 25051 quality standard. Since February 2019, she started working at Natixis as a QA in the Finance Team.

Short intro of the talk:
In the software certification process through the ISO/IEC 25051 quality standard it was necessary to measure the software quality by defining metrics.
In this PTM, I will talk about the definition of metrics through a standard ISO, with the objective of evaluating the software quality for different quality characteristics and sub-characteristics. In the second part, working groups will be created to define relevant metrics for each quality characteristic defined in the ISO standard.
