Talk 1:
Android Test Automation: The Final Frontier between Dev and QA - Cristina Martins e Daniel Monteiro

Description: An overview about the different levels of testing within an Android application, available tools/frameworks, and discussion about who should be responsible for each of them - Dev or QA.

Daniel:
Yo! I’m Daniel Monteiro, I’m 30 years old and I’ve been working as QAE for the past 5 years mostly in mobile apps. I started as tester but the passion for test automation grew quickly, today I am a QA Automation Engineer in COCUS with main focus in automation for mobile apps. When I’m not breaking things I’m probably running somewhere!

Cristina:
With a MsC in Bioengineering from FEUP, she decided to get into the software world. In early 2018 she was introduced to Android development and started working on a project for the automotive industry. Currently, she is an Android Developer at COCUS Portugal, working for the tourism industry. Although being in the dev “side”, she always had interest in the QA area and is a test enthusiast.

Talk 2:
How did I survive in a mobile team with no QA? - Carlos Correa

Description: In this talk I will explain how a team of iOS developers managed to work in an iOS app without these important human beings: the QA Engineers.

Bio:
Works with iOS development since 2011 and is fascinated about quality. I am the kind of person who asks "where are the tests" in a pull request review.
