Online WordPress Portsmouth Meetup - Full Site Editing (FSE)

🗣️ WHAT’S HAPPENING?

Join the WordPress Portsmouth Online Meetup on 19th May 2021 for an introduction to Full Site Editing (FSE) using the WordPress Site Editor (beta), with Herb Miller.

With the working title of "A guide to Full Site Editing, plugins and themes", Herb will demonstrate the Full Site Editing experience currently available using the Gutenberg plugin and WordPress 5.7

ABSTRACT

Using his new experimental Full Site Editing theme called "ThisIs..." Herb will show you:

• how to get started
• the components of the Site Editor
• example templates and template parts
• some of the blocks used to create FSE themes
• example themes
• a very few code samples
• some answers to FAQs
• how to become involved
• what's missing and future plans
• and many links to other resources

The event starts at 7pm GMT (7pm UTC). We will be providing a Zoom link for you to connect to the online Meetup.

🏕️ WHO CAN ATTEND?

All levels of experience of WordPress and website publishing welcome. We are a learning and development group. We welcome WordPress beginners.
As this is a virtual meetup attendees can come from far and wide.

Please sign-up if you intend to join the Meetup. If you are new to the group, please can you complete your Meetup profile to help us plan topics.
