This is a monthly forum with the sole purpose of promoting the benefits and scientifically-proven theories of Happiness and Positive Psychology. Meetings feature inspirational speakers who will introduce us to different happiness boosting techniques and ways we can increase our emotional and physical wellbeing.
Happiness is an inner state of well-being that empowers an individual to be their best possible self, and we could all use a little more!
Positive Psychology is the scientific study of human flourishing, and an applied approach to optimal functioning. It has been defined as the study of the strengths and virtues that enable individuals, communities and organizations to thrive.

About the Facilitator
Donna Vella is a speaker, coach and workshop facilitator who inspires personal growth at the intersection of positive psychology and nutrition, bringing clear practices and perspectives to community and business audiences alike. Her mantra is “Nourish To Flourish!”
Donna earned both her Positive Psychology Certification and Teaching For Transformation Certification from the Wholebeing Institute. She received her Holistic Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is a Let Your Yoga Dance (For Special Populations) Instructor. Her top strengths are Gratitude, Love, Hope, Self-Regulation, Zest and Creativity. She is a recovering perfectionist and passionate about sharing new ways of becoming our best selves. She is the founder of Stamford’s Positive Living Forum. Workshop topics include Mindfulness, Aging Joyfully, Character Strengths and Authenticity.
