Let's discuss the financial woes of our country, Greenwich, Wed 28 Nov

Details
You're invited to a meeting to discuss the financial woes of our country and possible solutions.
As our Government and many individuals struggle to overcome the problems of massive debt, austerity, and the associated recession, have you ever wondered why politicians and economists seem unable to fix our financial system? They might tell you that it is because it is very complex and hard to control. But we at Positive Money (http://www.positivemoney.org.uk/) believe that there is a simple answer and solution, which we would like to put before you during this meeting.
Politicians and economists sometimes overlook basic questions – like ”Where does money come from?” and “Who creates and allocates it?” But these questions are fundamental to reforming a flawed financial system that causes the miseries of excess debt, higher taxes and house prices, unemployment and environmental degradation.
Positive Money believe that there is a simple solution to the debt-based financial crisis. One which isn't ten years of an austerity-driven recession but that can make our monetary system work to provide the vital financial services that society needs to prosper.
