Museums in Old Town/Chinatown

Old Town/Chinatown is know for many things, but not often as a location for small-scale neighborhood museums. We will make a brief visit to several of these niche museums that tell the story of several immigrant communities in Portland. We will hear from staff about the history and mission of each museum but we won't actually tour the museums. This tour will introduce you to each of these historic treasures and encourage you to return for more exploration later. As we make our way from site to site we'll view the architectural fabric of the neighborhood and learn about the historic context of each museum.

This is a short urban walk of less than 1 mile.
