What we're about

The idea that positive transformation can occur through trauma goes against everything that’s commonly accepted about going through a traumatic experience such as assault, rape, robbery, motor vehicle accidents, bereavement and more.

However, nearly 50% of people that experience a traumatic event will also report some sort of growth following it.

They will find that those traumatic events made them a better Father, more compassionate neighbor, closer to their God, and with an increased sense of confidence that they can handle anything.

Or they may find that it gave them the strength to start that new podcast they’ve always wanted to, or to do something new and exciting, like skydive!

Post traumatic growth has been around as long as post traumatic stress disorder has... Since the beginning of man-kind. It's been etched in caves, written about in Greek literature, and is well-documented in the bible.

In our group, we look into how we have (or could) grow from those experiences. This group is completely relaxed and while some members may choose to share, you are not required to at all.

In fact, you may even want to come and just check our group out. That is completely fine as well.

Come grab a cup of coffee and learn a bit more about the fascinating world of post traumatic growth!

Disclaimer: This is NOT counseling, just a really awesome group of people that have been through some tough times and are choosing to make the best of it!
