Liebe PostgresSQL User,
auch uns bedauert es sehr, dass wir die PUG nicht wie gewohnt in unseren Räumlichkeiten veranstalten können. Wir versuchen somit unseren Beitrag zu leisten, um die Ausbreitung des COVID-19 zu verlangsamen.
Nichtsdestotrotz wollen wir, entgegen der physikalischen Nähe, die Postgres Community weiterhin zusammenzubringen. Deswegen veranstalten wir dieses MeetUp online auf Zoom. Dabei können wir uns auf zwei Vorträge von Dirk C. Aumueller und Ilya Kosmodemiansky freuen, wozu jeder herzlichst eingeladen ist. Dazu ein kleiner Teaser:

Das von Crunchy Data entwickelte pgBackRest erfreut sich neben 2ndQuadrant’s Barman großer Beliebtheit. Es ermöglicht das einfache und verlässliche Erstellen von Backups, sowie im Fehlerfall das problemlose Wiederherstellen selbiger. In diesem Vortrag möchte ich pgBackRest von der Installation bis zum täglichen operativen Einsatz vorstellen. Vielleicht gibt es auch am Ende eine kleine Demo. 😉

In this lecture I would like to introduce pgBackRest from installation to the responsible operational use. Maybe there will also be a small demo at the end. 😉
