What – Bring dish of vegan food to share and own drinks. Tea/coffee provided

The NZ Vegetarian Society exists to increase vegetarianism in order to reduce cruelty to animals, improve human health, protect the environment and preserve resources by encouraging plant-based choices through education, information, support campaigning and research.

Wellington Centre organises various events and activities to support these aims including a full calendar of social events. We welcome everyone at our social events, they involve delicious food and are vegan so everyone can relax and enjoy. To help cover our costs we request a $3 koha from non-members for venue hire – just pop it in the donation box at the door. Better still become a member and add your voice to ours for a “kinder, healthier world”. It’s easy, go to our website or talk to the host at our next event. We would love to get even more initiatives underway, if you would like to help or just have some questions contact us at eventswellington@gmail.com .
