Toastmasters: Communication, Leadership and Networking!
POWERSPEAKERS Communication: Is the fear of public speaking holding you back at work? Looking to sharpen your speaking and presentation skills? Toastmasters is the place! Leadership: Join a global professional organization "where leaders are made". Networking: Meet driven, advancement-focused individuals like yourself. What to expect: At each meeting, 2-3 Speeches will be delivered. Next, each speaker will be given an Evaluation, pointing out areas of excellence and areas for improvement. Following that is an Impromptu Speech session, where attendees can practice giving extemporaneous speeches. Before closing, everyone who spoke will be given feedback on grammar, timing and other points of speech. The best orators will receive prizes! Come join us to develop and improve your speaking and leadership skills in a friendly, safe atmosphere! Our members are a lively group of people diverse by age, career, and cultural background! (We typically have ~15 members at each meeting but not everyone RSVPs on Meetup.) DIRECTIONS Don't get lost!
