Embrace your intuition by playing with Psychometry

Details
If you are new to intuitive work, this is the place to start. If you are an experienced reader, come on out and support the newbies!
Psychometry is reading the energy of objects. It is the easiest of the intuitive skills, and ANYONE can do this! We ask participants to bring a piece of jewelry which they tend to wear often, and which was not a gift. We put the objects in a basket, and no one knows who owns what. We then go around the room and have participants grab an object at random to "read" it. You'll be amazed at how much you can pick up just by holding it in your hands.
For those of you who still wonder if you are intuitive, this is an important first step. We take a different approach from most. Rather than having you focus on one specific way of reading energy (typically "visually"), we open you up to discover your unique way of picking up information. You may not be a visual reader, and trying to teach you that way would be frustrating to you. You may be an amazing emotional reader, or cognitive, or tactile... Let's find out! Let's show you how powerful you are in your innate skills then, later, if you wish to, you can explore the others.
In this session we will start with grounding (because grounding is always important), then move to psychometry. If time allows, we'll play with moving from reading objects to reading chakras - the next logical step. And you are off and running!
Beyond its ability to open up your intuition, psychometry has many practical uses. Understanding how objects affect you can be very important. Knowing that environments can pull you off balance provides you with skills to protect yourself. Expanding beyond reading objects to clearing them makes "uncomfortable" jewelry easier to live with.
Psychometry can also give you a very personal connection to history. Image allowing yourself the experience of reading ancient ruins and coming to know what life was like thousands of years ago.
