Time for a Rest?
Mindfulness is effective in reducing stress and anxiety but it can be difficult to sustain. Old habits get the better of us. In this course we use it as a tool for self-understanding and look at human nature, awareness, consciousness, reason, beauty and the possibility of unity behind all things. This way, and working in a group, practical exercises soon become a part of life.

What we're about

We are ordinary people who ask extraordinary questions, such as 'Who am I?' and 'What is my purpose in the world?' We meet one evening each week in three ten-weekly terms and spend the evening seeking answers in Eastern and Western philosophies, mostly Advaita Vedanta and Plato. So if you enjoy discussing deep things with people of like mind, and practising spiritual exercises to bring peace to our busy days, do join us.
