Reasonable secure container images

Good news everyone,

another containers meetup is here. This time we will focus on container images registry and all the related tools. We will get through the basic of containers registries to the automatic CVE scans.

Are your containers secure enough to be used in production? Are you sure, there is no big CVE hiding in the dark? I'll not give you answer, but will teach you how you can minimize these risk and how to maintain reasonable security standard in your containers.

Problems (and Solutions) with Docker Images in MSD

This talk touches on outside-boundary of container images (i.e. not the image content, runtime nor security). Typical problems were mostly not being able to answer questions for running containers such as: Who built an image and when? Who maintains it? Team that owns it? What was the Dockerfile? Which git version was used? and so on.

Presenter will go through those problems and describe briefly a solution they’ve chosen to remedy it.
