Good news Everyone!

As we are expanding our knowledge we still want more and more. This caused this year to be in the sign of big changes in our meetup group. We have moved our sessions to be more frequent and workshop based.This was a reason behind expanding our topics outside of containers ecosystem and main force behind a new meetup series which will occasionally talk about programming languages.

Why you want to learn Rust

Rust, a relatively new programming language, challenges several claims the industry took for granted for decades. For example that you need to sacrifice performance to write safe programs. The version 1.0 was released three years ago and it has been winning Stack Overflow's „Most Loved programming language“ poll since.

Let's have a look at what makes Rust special and why people fall in love with it (or even become addicted). And where it can be a valuable addition to your toolbox and how it can improve your skill even when using other languages most of the time.
