We are back with another meetup and this time it will be about next gen containerization tools with an optional hands-on session. If you want to join please bring a laptop with Fedora OS VM. You don’t need to attend the workshop but you’re welcome to join us, try everything yourself and discuss with us all the nitty details.

Let us introduce you to some modern tools for Linux Containers with a practical workshop:

• rootless containers
• no daemons
• secure containers
• cgroups v2 and containers
• building images with and without Dockerfiles
• managing container images
• kube integration

We'll start with the introduction of modern containers landscape, get you through all the bleeding edge technologies and related topics. After the talk we will slowly transition to a workshop/demo which you can easily follow on your laptop - the only thing you need is an operating system with podman, buildah, skopeo available (such as Fedora OS).
