What we're about

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem! May those who love you prosper!

(Psalms 122:6)

Sponsored by the members of the business Civic Friary™ (a Catholic order of the Laity—not a religious order), we welcome all who want to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. The prayer time will often include partaking in celebration of Holy Mass somewhere within the Archdiocese of Boston, of which we are members but not part of in any official capacity.

All are welcome to attend in prayer; all Roman Catholic Christians (and other rites in communion with Rome, such as the Melkites, etc.) are welcome to participate in the Holy Communion. The focus of this monthly prayer time is on a just, secure peace in Jerusalem and all of the surrounding region. All prayer concerns for the area are welcome, since one of the purposes of this service is to unite our various hearts and voices in prayer for the Holy Land. Our "Sister Meetup Groups" —"The Monastic Cooking Club" and "Liturgical Hours" hold a few of the same and many other events that may interest our membership, with similar goals.
