Let's Meetup for Geocaching.

Details
Potluck before the hunt. Bring a dish to share.
Ideas for the potluck:
At some of the past events, we have had pizza, buckets of chicken, casseroles, salads, mac and potato salads, chips or crackers and dip, rolls and cheese plates, Subway subs, small sandwiches, finger foods, cookies, brownies, pie, cake. I will bring a cooler full of water bottles.
There is a $5 fee to park at the lake. Meet at Costco 20 minutes early to carpool to the lake. Meet directly out from the automotive bays.
Geocaching is a GPS treasure hunt, which has spread around the globe in recent years. Use GPS coordinates to find hidden containers, which will contain at least a logbook & may contain other small items. They could be hidden almost anywhere. It will involve some walking, so wear some comfortable walking shoes. A handheld GPS, or a phone with GPS feature is helpful. A pen or pencil may be come in handy as well. If you wish, you may also bring some small trinkets to place in the caches or to trade. Some examples: inexpensive toys, costume jewelery, key rings, coins, polished stones, marbles, dominoes, small decks of cards. Just a couple of restrictions: Food items of any kind should not be placed in a cache & any hazardous materials are definitely not permitted.

There are many caches around Lynx Lake, more than could be found in a single day. I'll pick out 5 - 10 that we can search for. Meet at the picnic tables by the south boat landing. And since we'll be at the lake, if you want to bring your kayak or boat...
[I have also invited the Prescott Gold Panning group, so let's welcome them at this fun activity] -Kevin
