What we're about

Love to sing? Join one of London's most sociable choirs! We meet every Monday during term-time, 7.30-9.30pm, at the Primrose Hill Community Centre, 29 Hopkinsons Place, London NW1 8TN. About forty people attend each week, and all ages and abilities are welcome. Sing songs in all styles, improve your singing, and then join us for a drink in a trendy Primrose Hill pub. The charge is £6 on the door, though only £4 per week if you pay for the remaining weeks of term. For full details, including rehearsal dates, directions and to hear us singing, see www.primrosehillchoirs.com (http://www.primrosehillchoirs.com/).

We post rehearsal tracks on soundcloud to help you learn the songs, and will teach you some basics about reading music and singing technique. At the end of each term experience the excitement of performing in venues such as the Roundhouse, South Bank Centre, V&A museum and Camden market. The choir is led by the prize-winning conductor Matthew Watts, "the Gareth Malone of Primrose Hill" (Hampstead & Highgate Express).

For those who want to take their singing to the next level we run a twelve-voice auditioned group, the Primrose Hill Singers. And for any children who love to sing, there is the Primrose Hill Children’s Choir. See the website for full details, or get in touch. We look forward to meeting you!
