What we're about

The Reformed faith is the historic faith of many people around the world. It blossomed during the Protestant Reformation and has since spread all over the world. You can do it in very simple terms: those who sin (do what God the Creator says not to do) are so separated from their maker, that God himself had to act to take care of sin. This is what he did in sending Jesus Christ. In other words: God is the Savior. The Orthodox Presbyterian Church is part of the Reformed movement. It is a Bible-focused church interested in helping people grow in their understanding of the historic Christian faith. We want to help the community of northern Calvert County see the impact of clear biblical teaching on real life. The Reformed faith takes all that the Bible teaches seriously and shows how Jesus Christ is the one hope that people can have for life now and for eternity.
