Philip's passion for photography began in his high school years when he purchased his first 35mm film camera, a Pentax ME. 10 years ago Philip developed photography as a profession by studying under and working for a few of the great wedding and portrait photographers on the East coast (including James Roy (https://www.meetup.com/Prince-William-Professional-Photographers-VA-DC/photos/1239977/#21100557), Clay Blackmore, and Doug Gordon). Influenced by their styles and techniques, he has developed a new genre of wedding, environmental, and existing light portrait photography now popularly known as Lifestyle Photography: the use of the rules of traditional portrait lighting to maximize consistency in natural, existing light photography combined with the action of photojournalism.
