Writing Sprint, hosted by DIY MFA

Details
Writing sprints are like bigger, longer word wars. You, and a bunch of other virtual people, set aside time to writewritewrite your fingers off. This event is hosted by DIY MFA, which will be keeping you motivated throughout the weekend. Think of it as a virtual writing retreat.

Why do this writing sprint?
You will make the time to write. Whether you’re in the middle of a draft and need some solid writing time, or you just want an excuse to set aside a few hours for your writing, this weekend writing sprint is for you. This sprint will force you to dedicate a block of time for your writing. You can write all day for the whole weekend, or you can do a shorter sprint for an hour or two. How long you write is up to you, as long as you write at some point during the weekend.
Social accountability will help you stick to your goals. Ever notice how when you share your goals with others you’re more likely to reach them? This is all thanks to social accountability. When you share your goals with the world, it becomes much harder to back away from them and you’re more likely to stick with your goals.
Writing is a lot more fun when you do it with friends. Connect with fellow writers during the event via Twitter and meet people who love writing as much as you do.
