IMPORTANT: Check the website (pedalers.org) for all ride rating, safety, and etiquette guides. Choosing the correct ride for your fitness level will help ensure you have the best possible group cycling experience.
Become a Member: Try out a few rides and then consider joining the Club! Your club dues keep the Club running (insurance, Meetup, website, and event costs). Besides supporting the largest recreational cycling club in Reno-Tahoe, club members enjoy insurance on all club rides and members-only special events (Hooray for Spring, Mormon Station annual picnic, Mt. Rose Challenge, Holiday Party, and more). Visit our new website at pedalers.org.
E-Bikes: All but Class 2 E-bikes are welcome. Ride leaders may not be equipped to handle mechanical issues so have a backup plan.

Sparks ride hitting some Western Areas
Sparks Marina, 300 Howard Drive, Sparks, NV, USWeather this weekend is expected to be cool high 40s to high 50s. Saturday still predicted to have substantial probability of rain. Sunday some what less.
This course goes north from the Sparks Marina and takes Howard, Goldy and a bit of Spanish Springs before winding to Shadow Lane and Pah Rah Mountain Park. We go over Los Altos and continue to a short section of Sparks Blvd. Then we take Sawgrass and Turnberry to continue on Henry Coe and Kiley. We will take Wingfield Hills and wind to Oppio Ranch and Cross Pyramid at the light at Dolores. We take some back roads to Eagle Canyon and turn onto Calle De La Plata for a couple miles. We take Lanstar and Egyptian to cross into Spanish Springs on Silent Springs. We have long sections of Tranquility and Cordoba to get us to Wingfield Springs and hit Vista which we take to Disc Drive. We finish on Spanish Springs, Goldy and Howard.

Rating: C+,B, 33.6 miles, 960 feet of elevation gainNOTE: Check posting 2 hours before ride time for weather-related and other changes. Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order. Please no ear buds or headphones. Be prepared with a spare tube and pump. Class 2 E-Bikes are not permitted.

RIDE RATINGS: Unless the ride is posted “no drop,” you will be expected to maintain the pace set as stated in the ride description. It is important to confirm your ability to do this ride.
