FAQ

What is Product Council?

It’s a place for designers, product owners, and entrepreneurs to explore strategic, creative, and critical thinking behind product design. We host events and bring together the best product brains in NYC.

How does it work?

At each meeting, a curated audience of product managers, makers, and founders gather to learn valuable lessons and insights from experienced product owners as they discuss challenges and solutions. There are two 10-minute presentations. The first is followed by a short Q&A session initiated by our expert panel of product owners. We also provide drinks and food, because real critical thinking requires calories.

Why is it special?

We focus on real product challenges and how to solve them, not around features, services, or promotions. We give product owners the unique opportunity to get valuable expert analysis and audience feedback in a friendly and supportive environment. This is not a place for demos or pitches. It’s a place to examine how to execute an idea.

Who should attend?

Product Council events focus on both the art and science of building products, so no matter what role or level of talent you provide to a company, it’s likely in your best interest to have an insider’s perspective into how great products are created.

Who runs it?

Hosted by Phil Thomas Di Giulio, startup founder and now Product Innovation Lead at Verizon Media and Staton Piercey, co-founder of Coalesce (http://coalesce.nyc), a digital agency that builds products for businesses, brands, and brave souls with great ideas.
