Hi Designers!

We’re happy to announce the second Product Design Meetup of 2018:
this time the event will take place on the 27th of September in Kortrijk.

We have 3 truly amazing speakers lined up for this edition and will be sharing more info soon.
As always, the event is completely free, as is our open bar where you can have a few drinks and practice your networking-skills after the presentations.

Places are limited, so RSVP quickly ;)

SPEAKER #1: Pieter Decabooter

Our talented in-house designer Pieter Decabooter will tell you about how he started designing digital interfaces after graduating as a physical product designer. Where is the overlap in physical and digital design, and what’s different?

SPEAKER #2: Jenny Theolin

Jenny Theolin is an experienced designer and educator creating learning experiences for individuals, schools and businesses within areas such as technology, design thinking, creativity, innovation, culture and entrepreneurship.

She runs Studio Theolin, a design studio based in Stockholm promoting human interaction and serendipitous moments through designing events and experiences. And just a couple of weeks ago, Studio Theolin joined Group of Humans, a distributed curated network of the best designers, strategists, technologists, and creatives in the world, all of whom share a belief that technology should be harnessed not for efficiency but for the benefit of people, society and the environment.

Jenny will take us through some of the insights from working across all types of clients; individuals, schools and businesses. She will share her thinking on the importance of culture and collective creativity to encourage ethical innovation. “How do you make moral decisions? What can you do to ensure a better future? And how to make less shit choices.”
