We're pleased to join the 80+ ProductTank events happening today for World Product Day.

We're also introducing a new format which we'll periodically visit at ProductTank Birmingham. In our new "Dear product manager," slot, we invite someone who is not a product manager to offer their perspective on the product process and working with product managers.

We're pleased to Paul Marshall(https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-marshall-agile-clarity/) as our speaker this month. Paul is a Scrum Master and Agile enthusiast. He is currently continuing his own Agile journey with Coventry Building Society where he is spearheading their Agile transformation. Having worked for multimillion-dollar companies, a West Coast start-up, and everything in between, Paul has a broad perspective around software technology, e-commerce, and associated management frameworks. He enjoys sharing his thoughts in a fresh, engaging, and easy-to-understand way in the pursuit of creating happier more productive working environments.

Paul's talk will be examining the attributes of the mythical "Super 'T' shaped Product Manager".

Synopsis:
Many Product Managers seem to gravitate towards a single part of the SDLC.

For example; they might be an amazing visionary but have less focus or interest on the delivery aspect. Or they could be an excellent salesperson who's great with customer and stakeholders but are less skilled in working with technical teams.

As someone interested in management frameworks, and the way that people interact and behave within those frameworks, Paul would like to facilitate a session where we explore these personas, their strengths, their weaknesses, their motivations, and their drivers.

What if we took the best from each persona to form the Super 'T' shaped Product Manager - one that carries a clear vision from concept right through to cash.

What would that look like?
